Grounded in more than fifteen years of art teaching in middle and high school classrooms in Massachusetts, I create studio resources that bridge the artist’s studio with the lived classroom experience. My work supports inquiry-driven, choice-based practice, material exploration, and reflective documentation, rooted in the creative process I use with students and artists every day. I post videos on my YouTube channel adapting studio practice to the art classroom. This commitment to inquiry extends beyond the classroom. Alongside my husband, John Garrett, I write, perform, and record music across several projects, including Só Sol. Our work favors collaborative songwriting, attentive listening, and music shaped through shared process rather than fixed genre.
